When you think blogger, you generally envision someone who is fairly comfortable with self-promotion and loves to be in front of the camera. You might think I am these things but in reality, I am quite the opposite. I am a little bit shy and very critical of myself. Friends and family tend to get frustrated with the constant “One more picture, try a different angle!” requests. However, with blogging, or at least the type of blogging I have chosen to do, getting more comfortable with posing for the camera is something I have gradually warmed up to.
Enter, Andi The Great as I have deemed her. She makes you feel so comfortable, like you’ve known her your whole life, and I think it shows in her work!
It’s funny because in the winter, I am all about fitted, structured pieces. However, when summer rolls around, I have no problem embracing the beach girl I am at my core!

I love the casual boho vibe of this outfit. It’s easy and breezy but still put together. The clutch was a Christmas gift and at first I was puzzled as to how I’d wear it. I think it’s the perfect statement piece with a neutral outfit. I can’t tell you the number of compliments it gets me! It’s good to think outside of the box!
When I first joined Instagram, the hand-made jewelry company with several stores throughout Hawaii She by the Sea followed me. I have a weakness for handmade jewelry so I followed back and ordered this pair of starfish earrings from their Etsy shop. They are big and bold (but light as a feather!) and the perfect accompaniment to a simple summer outfit. I love my starfish babies! All that’s missing is a summer glow!
What do you think of this look? It makes me yearn for some salty ocean air and the rum punch to go with it!
Check back on Monday to see my edgy look!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Thank you Kenya!!
Where are the crab legs? Its got a throw back, beachy vibe. Really liked the toe of the espadrilles, (great style never goes out of style) and of course like everyone else, the starfish earrings.
Hahah the crab legs would have been an interesting prop. Those shoes are literally from high school-I’ve had them repaired too many times to count!
Lea Kokenes was rocking those earrings last night with a luminescent jumpsuit…you inspire TLO !!!
Wow! Did did she order from the same company in Hawaii, She by the Sea?! Love those earrings and love to inspire 🙂
