How is it already Tuesday?!
The weeks are flying and show no signs of slowing. No complaints from this Lady!
Last Thursday was no ordinary Thursday for me. I attended the fourth annual Style Night Out, a fashion show created and produced by the brilliant Effie Loukas featuring local boutiques and benefitting Carolina Breast Friends. She manages to be one of Charlotte’s lead stylists and event producers-putting Charlotte, NC ON THE MAP as a fashion center!
Charlotte has some truly incredible boutique shopping. I was thrilled to be invited to attend a little pre-party action at one of my favorite Charlotte boutiques, ChezElle.
Laryn Adams, the owner of ChezElle, has impeccable taste. A true style maven, it’s like she knows what’s hot before it’s cool. I recall buying a Clover Canyon dress on the clearance rack several years back before I or anyone knew the label was about to take off. From designers tried and true to the emerging and lesser known, she has an eye for the unique and never misses a beat.
Here are some photos of the pre-party!

I more or less want to move into ChezElle. If you have not, you must go check out the boutique!
On to the show!
The excitement in the air was electric! It definitely felt “big city” to me!

There were so many looks coming down the runway that I could not capture all of them. Here are a handful of the other boutiques featured in the show that I think you should definitely check out!
The show was flawless and the crowd was so energetic. It was incredible to see Charlotte’s booming fashion scene team up in one place. Since I’ve started this blog, I have come to realize how much I love taking photos of others’ style, be it at an event or at Sunday brunch! Your style truly inspires me!
Congratulations again to another successful Style Night Out!
When your creative juices are running on empty, where do you seek inspiration?
Great coverage. ChezElle really looks like a great boutique! Love the fur and plaid look too 🙂
