Happy Birthday to me!

Yep, 28 years young, and I still get excited about my birthday (even if it is a bit silly!)

It all starts with Halloween-my favorite excuse to dress in something ridiculous.  Only two short weeks pass, then it’s my birthday and I get to eat cake and (hopefully) open a present or two! Just saying-I would not dissuade you from throwing me a petting zoo party, magician party or clown party. I am such a little kid at heart.

Then, in just two more weeks,  it’s Thanksgiving! I remember waking up to the smells of the turkey roasting, sweet potato soufflé in the oven, and oh yes, the brown sugar glazed baked brie. ALWAYS. I would plop on the couch and watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, in awe of the floats, and more importantly the Rockettes!!!

I might not enjoy the cold, but the holidays evoke such warm memories of family, food, and festivity!!

I wanted to use today as the chance to tell you how grateful I am to have you as readers. With every comment and each time I hear from one of you, I am delighted and touched that I could bring a bit of joy to your day.
