Since no birthday is complete without a little self-indulgence, I thought I would share my recent H&M purchases that I am so tickled over!
It all began when I saw Kirin’s post on Closet Cast.
I love her clean and simple yet funky style.
How cool are those brogues? They make a statement without trying too hard. Paired with an otherwise simple outfit, they steal the show. I knew I had to have them. I got busy on H&M online (Charlotte’s first H&M store just opened YESTERDAY at Northlake Mall!!)

I am always on the lookout for a cozy and functional sweater. This angora blend steal is only $35 and also comes in green, red and grey! I was slightly concerned that it would be itchy (I have zero tolerance for itchy fabrics) but it is so soft. I envision it dressed up with my faux leather pants and dressed down with dark denim and boots.
My furry friend! I have a mild obsession with fur. While I already posses a fur vest, it’s hip level and a touch formal. I wanted something I could throw on and not fuss over too much. This faux fur cropped vest at $35.00 is selling out very fast! It runs a tad small, so I suggest sizing up, especially if you have a fuller chest or broad shoulders.
I am thrilled with my H&M purchases and can’t wait to check out the new Charlotte store!
